Our History
Building a Thriving Baking Community
Since 2001, the Filipino Chinese Bakery Association, Inc. (FCBAI) has been dedicated to promoting and advancing the Philippine baking industry. It all began when then-President Gerry Chua and Past President Henry Ah envisioned a bakery trade show to unite industry leaders, suppliers, and enthusiasts. This led to the first Bakery Fair at the Philippine Trade Center, with Sonlie International as the first signed exhibitor.
Over the years, the Bakery Fair has grown, fostering innovation and collaboration among exhibitors. In 2003, the International Federation of Bakery Confectionery Associations (IFBCA) was formed within the event, strengthening global industry connections.
With each successful fair, FCBAI continues to expand its reach, building strong partnerships and creating opportunities for the baking community. We look forward to more milestones and shared success in the years to come.
